I believe that correct information and a strong will to improve one's quality of life are key to good health. Hence, as a writer and a doctor committed to improving the health of children, I write on topics that commonly concern parents.

I am an American Board certified pediatrician practising since 2000. I have specialised in Pediatric Allergy and Asthma. I have two sons, who have greatly influenced and shaped my life and career.

My experience as a mother has also taught me a great deal about chidren's food and emotional requirements. As a result, my first book was about Breastfeeding issues and common problems faced by nursing mothers.

My greatest concern today is that our lifestyles are becoming more and more mechanised, artificial and sedentary. This can negatively impact our children's lives. Childhood is a formative and vulnerable period and all help given to children at this crucial stage can shape a favorable future.
